Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you feel entirely unqualified?
Knowing you don’t have what it takes to takes to succeed, you decide to press on in confidence, faking it until you make it.
This is the approach encouraged in our society. We’re told to do whatever it takes to succeed – even if it means pretending to be someone you’re not.
The truth is, many of apply this same approach to our relationship with Jesus Christ. We come to Canyon Hills – Bible in hand – presenting a Christian facade inconsistent with our true selves.
Thankfully, Christ never intended for us to live in this manner. In fact, He’s already paid the ultimate sacrifice to buy ever worry, insecurity, pain, suffering, and affliction that you’re dealing with. By dumping your baggage at the feet of Jesus, we strip away our worldly exteriors and experience an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
In this two-part mini-series, Pastor Matt Dietz helps us start 2016 with a renewed spirit that comes from an authentic relationship with our Savior.
